cPanel releases Encompass Control Panel Beta |

CPanel has announced the beta release of its Enkompass Windows Control Panel, after a long period of development. According to CPanel, Enkompass has been specially constructed using Windows technology, with the aim of being utilized in a distributed server environment. This builds permission for Enkompass servers to manage numerous Windows domain servers all the way up to a data center and also allows users of the service for paying for the users required. The program will also be able to be used with the MailEnable, SmarterMail e-mail system, the latter of which has been provided by SmarterTools, which can be used with unlimited domains. Enkompass also features Active Directory, which ensures that the user information and reseller privileges, which are implemented can be made safe and also with the option of scalability, along with a multi-level reselling program. The ease of use with Enkompass makes the interface duplicates, which would be found on the Linux version of cPanel/WHM, which permits those using it to manage and utilize both of these programs without the necessity of retraining. While these programs have different features depending on the particular Operating System, the reseller and account features remain the same for both the Linux and Windows versions.
